Aurora 88 Large Fountain Pen
An unforgettable Italian writing instrument from the 1950s, the legendary Aurora 88 maintains a cult status among fountain pen aficionados. Designed by Marcello Nizzoli (who also designed the iconic Olivetti typewriters), the 88 was the first pen to be exhibited at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan. Its understated style and retro appeal are achieved in sleek black resin with gold-plated or Nikargenta (chrome alloy) accents. The 88 fountain pen is available in two sizes and features a 14K gold nib with regular or ITALIC point and an ebonite feed. The large fountain pen has an ingenious hidden reservoir system that keeps the ink flowing when your supply is low. The medium size fountain pen is cartridge/converter fill. Just turn the pen end counterclockwise and your pen will write for another page! The Aurora 88 extends your writing pleasure with a matching capped rollerball and a twist ball pen. A 0.7mm pencil is also available in gold finish only. Each one makes an ideal gift for yourself or other fortunate writers! Bottle fill only.
