PARKER LIMITED TRUE BLUE DUOFOLD FOUNTAIN PEN
Parker presents the new Duofold True Blue limited edition, a replica of its classic Art Deco fountain pen. Parker first launched the True Blue in 1928, a startlingly modern pen that stood out from the more conventional finishes of the era. Collectors will recognize it as the “Three Fifty” – at $3.50, it sold for half the cost of a regular Duofold! The new finish features a freeform flame swirl pattern in cerulean blue and creamy white cast acrylic. The Centennial-sized fountain pen has a platinum-plated, 18K gold nib, delicately engraved to echo the barrel pattern, and platinum-plated trim. The cap is finished with three slender rings and a custom-designed, individually numbered medallion in the crown. The Duofold True Blue is presented in a stunning, lacquered wood case with a stylized blue and white flame pattern, and includes an illustrated booklet and a bottle of Penman ink. The 2007 Duofold True Blue fountain pen is a limited edition of 5,000 pieces worldwide – a true collector’s item and an extraordinary piece of Parker history. Uses cartridges or converter.
