Acme Frank Lloyd Wright Inspired Cufflinks

Born in Wisconsin in 1867, Frank Lloyd Wright grew up to be America’s greatest and most innovative architect. His legacy is one of America’s foremost cultural treasures. When Architectural Record magazine published a list of the 100 most significant buildings in the world - 11 were by Frank Lloyd Wright. Acme Studios brings the works of the noted architect into your hands with these fascinating pens and accessories. The designs are screened on brass or steel and layered with transparent lacquer. The black-with-primary-colors motif is an interpretation of Wright’s designs for the Avery Coonley house constructed in 1907-08. The estate consisted of several buildings including a playhouse for the Coonley’s young daughter. The black and grey square patterns evoke the Ennis House, one of the first to use modular concrete block, which Wright cast with Mayan effects. The Coonley or Squares cufflinks are plated in silver trim. Each piece is a work of modern art you can admire, use or give as a unique gift!
