To reflect elements of Ali’s varied, eventful career, Montegrappa integrated a number of relevant details into the “Tribute to Muhammad Ali” series. The 18K gold fountain pen nib sports a “raised arms” silhouette of the victorious boxer above the name “Ali”. The barrel bears the colors of his boxing shorts in white pearlized resin with black stripes. The sterling silver clip recalls the stitching on Ali’s boxing gloves. The cap’s profile follows the arc of a speed bag, crowned with the squared
shape of the “World Championship” diamond-encrusted ring worn by Ali. The great man’s signature is found on the cap, with the legend “The Greatest of All Time” engraved around the top. The Icons “Ali” is limited to 1,942 pieces (the year of Ali’s birth) of both the fountain pen and rollerball. Also available in a solid gold edition. Cartridge/converter fill.
