RETRO 2008 EXCLUSIVE CHERRY BLOSSOM FOUNTAIN PEN

We are thrilled to introduce our new Cherry Blossom Festival writing instruments for 2008, designed and produced exclusively for Fahrney’s by Retro 51. As a dedicated sponsor of the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC, each year we present a Special Edition pen commemorating the event. For 2008, the artistic set features an original design that captures the serenity of the cherry blossoms in the twilight with the Capital building as a backdrop. The scene on the Tornado-style pens is created in multiple layers of hard enamel in blue, white and a touch of pink. The aluminum pen body features a very new and highly specialized anodization process: the technique of fading the color from dark to light is very unique – in fact, this may be the only pen in the world with this type of finish. The metallic blue is accented with rose-gold colored metal clip and trim with awe-inspiring results. The Cherry Blossom special edition includes a fountain pen with iridium-tipped, two-tone stainless steel nib, a capless, twist-top convertible rollerball/ball pen, and a front-loading, 0.9mm pencil with large eraser. Don’t miss out on this limited production set! Fountain pen uses cartridges only.
