Stipula Limited Edition Etruria Fiesole Fountain Pen
The new Stipula Etruria Fiesole Limited Edition takes its name from an ancient Etruscan city in the Florentine hills. In 63 B.C., the city’s protector, Catiline, was thwarted in his attempt to overthrow the Republic, a feat famously recounted by the Roman historian Sallust in his work, Bellum Catilinae. The Fiesole pen is hand-turned from a beautiful golden-brown celluloid veined with blue. The Etruria is most representative of the handcraft tradition of Stipula, with beautiful colors and decorative Florentine metalwork. The solid sterling silver rings and clips are hand cast by the same lost wax methods used since the Renaissance. The exceptional 14K gold and rhodium fountain pen nib is flexible yet strong enough to bear down on and comes in regular or ITALIC nibs. Bottle fill only. The edition is limited to 193 piston-fill fountain pens; the first 88 in sets with a matching 0.7mm pencil.
