Conway Stewart commemorates the Duke of Wellington’s life with this noteworthy series. Considered a leading political and military figure of 19th-century England, Wellington served as an Anglo-Irish general and statesman, chief secretary of Ireland, ambassador to France, commander of the British army, victor at the Battle of Waterloo and British prime minister. Wellington writing instruments live up to their namesake with a substantial size and a striking new design. Subtle, curved forms on the cap and barrel create an exciting shape that sets the Wellington apart from traditional pens. Two 18K hallmarked solid gold bands accent the rich marbled resin finishes in Jet Black, Classic Brown, Black Whirl or Classic Green. The expertly crafted fountain pen nib is solid 18K gold. The Wellington is also offered as a rollerball, ball pen and 0.7mm pencil. Fountain pen uses cartridges or converter.
