Conway Stewart Plumage Mandarin Yellow Fountain Pen
Conway Stewart has taken the original Plumage design and transformed it with vibrant shades of bright yellow. The appealing design was inspired by the ornamental feathers once used as quills and the French word for the fountain pen, “plume”. The Mandarin Plumage is constructed in hallmarked, solid sterling silver. The eye is drawn to the clean, sophisticated design on the barrel and cap – stylized nib-shaped panels are enhanced with alternating shades of translucent yellow enamel, crisply outlined in polished sterling silver. The depth of each panel is set off by an extra-fine diamond point pattern cut deeply into the precious metal. The medium-sized Plumage has a tapered shape that rests perfectly in the hand, making it ideally suited for everyday use. The fountain pen nib is handmade in solid 18K gold with rhodium mask. A capped rollerball is also available. Each pen is limited to 100 pieces and holds Conway Stewart’s 100-year guarantee. Uses cartridges or converter.
