The Exception series is a triumph from the inventive minds at Waterman. A mix of creative daring and technical expertise, they have designed a unique quadrangled writing instrument. The squared shape of the barrel fits perfectly in the hand for pure writing comfort. No detail has been overlooked, from the finest multi-layered lacquer, to the elegant trims plated in precious metals. The Exception is available in two sizes: the oversized Night & Day and the Slim model. The Slim model comes in solid black or blue lacquer with silver-plated trim, or in ruby red or black with gold-plated accents. All Exception fountain pens have 18K gold, handcrafted nibs that are engraved with the Waterman “ideal” and “globe” trademarks – symbols found on the first fountain pen created by L.E. Waterman. Also available in a twist ball pen and a capped rollerball. Fountain pen uses cartridges or converter.
