Esterbrook Charles M. Schulz Limited Edition Ballpoint Pen
Charles M. Schulz, legendary creator of the iconic Peanuts comic strip is paid tribute with the release of a new Limited Edition Collection by Esterbook, the pen brand used exclusively by Mr. Schulz to draw his famous Peanuts characters. This truly unique collection is inspired by two of Schulz’ beloved characters, Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Produced under license by the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center, the fountain pen and ball pen barrels are lacquer coated in Charlie Brown Yellow or Snoopy White topped with solid black caps. Schulz’ distinctive signature is engraved on the barrel and central band. Polished chrome accents include a curved clip etched with the Esterbrook logo. Limited to 500 pens per color, each individually numbered piece is presented in a Peanuts-inspired box which matches the pen color and also features Schulz’ signature. The fountain pen is equipped with a German-made steel and iridium nib; the ball pen is twist activated. Spread some joy with a gift every Peanuts fan will love!

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
While I don't have this in my hands because it's a pre-order, I can say this, to my knowledge this is the first FP dedicated to a cartoonist/artist. Most, if not all have been for authors, music writers, poets and statesmen, but I believe this is the first of its kind and should be a valuable addition to any collection because of that fact.
