PELIKAN 7005 BLACK/SILVER MAJESTY BALLPEN

Pelikan created a brilliant masterpiece with the Majesty series and now extends the line with the addition of the new Black & Silver. The highlight of the Majesty is a pelican frieze worked onto the cap, magnificently crowning these pens with its elaborate diamond chasing. The silver frieze reproduces details from a stone wall frieze on the façade of Pelikan’s historic former headquarters factory in Hanover, Germany, thus creating a link between the history of the brand to the present day. The barrel of the piston-fill fountain pen is elaborately fluted and has an innovative feature: a sleeve that slides off to reveal the ink reservoir. The caps of the pens are repeatedly lacquered and polished in deep black, setting off the silver elements such as the rings and clip. The Majesty is remarkable not only for its regal looks: its mechanisms and nib are of the very finest quality. This is particularly evident on the sumptuous 18K gold nib as it glides smoothly over paper, or in the unerring performance of the twist ball pen and capped rollerball.
