The collection marks the first ever collaboration of two iconic Italian brands - Riva, makers of the most luxurious power boats in the world and Ribald, Italy’s first fountain pen manufacturer. Both are companies equally committed to creating strikingly beautiful and exquisitely crafted Italian luxury goods. With meticulous emphasis on details, Tibaldi has created a unique pen collection reflecting the exquisite lacquer work, woodwork and rich interiors for which Riva is renowned. All Tibaldi for Riva writing instruments are coated in exactly the same paint colors as Riva boats. Made of a secret formula known only to Riva, these patented paints are designed for extreme durability. Echoing the shape of the original Riva bitts (the posts fixed to the deck of a ship for fastening cables and ropes), the clip’s sophisticated spring mechanism lifts it easily away from the cap, enabling it to slide effortlessly when inserted into a pocket. The barrel is handcrafted with inlaid wood, reminiscent of the wooden deck on Riva’s boats. This limited edition Ribald for Riva collection is restricted to just 500 pieces of each color in both the fountain pen and the roller ball totaling 2,000 pens. The collection is available in nautical colors; Roman Bronze fitted with rose gold plating and Navy Blue trimmed with palladium.

OMAS Computer Pen celebrates a milestone in the world’s technology – in 2008 the number of PCs in the world reached 1 billion units! The pen has the three-sided body of the OMAS 360 model, crafted in anodized aluminium for perfect balance and weight. The fascinating guilloche engraved on the barrel represent man’s development of the computer: the first hard disk of 1956, the Supercomputer of 2003, and Greek and Roman counting tablets. The gold-plated clip resembles an 11th century Chinese abacus; the 18K gold nib is engraved with a slide rule from 1650, the first modern analog computer!
