WEEMS & PLATH NAVIGATOR WATCH
Weems & Plath, makers of fine nautical instruments, has styled its new Navigator watch after the famous Second Setting watch designed by Capt. Philip Van Horn Weems in 1936 and used by aviators including Charles Lindbergh and the U.S. Air Force during World War II. The Swiss-made watch has a rotating bezel to monitor elapsed time. The dial and hands are fitted with tritium micro gas lighting (GTLS) a technology usually found in professional dive watches and will illuminate for 25 years without charging. Features a Swiss quartz movement, water resistance up to 330’, stainless steel back, date display, and a black or white 42mm dial with red second hand. The numbered, limited production Navigator comes with two black bands: a water-resistant Italian calfskin and
a waterproof rubber sport band.
