Montblanc Gold Leaf Meisterstuck Calligraphy Rollerball
The fusion of art and writing:
Montblanc Meisterstück Calligraphy Collection
While it may have originated centuries ago, calligraphy as an art
form has become increasingly popular today among handwriting aficionados looking to put pen to paper in a creative and personal way. With its new Meisterstück Calligraphy Collection, Montblanc elevates the art of hand lettering with an amazing new nib, the Flex Nib.
Made from solid 18K gold to bend and spread more easily, it allows
for more expressive lettering, with vertical lines varying from just 0.3mm to 1.4mm thick depending on the pressure applied to the pen. Hand-sculpted by master artisans, each nib is the result of absolute expertise and boundless patience. The Flex Nib in 18K yellow gold is offered on two fountain pen models: the oversize 149 Meisterstück in black precious resin and the new Solitaire LeGrand Calligraphy. The Solitaire Calligraphy pens pay tribute to the illuminated manuscripts of Renaissance scribes whose use of gold leaf inspired the collection’s design. Genuine gold leaf is hand-applied to the black lacquer cap and barrel of each Solitaire Calligraphy pen, then covered by a translucent lacquer.
With fittings in black PVD, the LeGrand edition is available
as a fountain pen with the 18K gold Flex Nib, as a fountain pen with the standard Meisterstück 18K ruthenium-coated nib or as a LeGrand rollerball. The Montblanc Calligraphy series also includes a notebook in black leather with gold foil cover, special edition Elixir Calligraphy bottle ink, Calligraphy cufflinks and a Calligraphy 2-slot pen pouch.
