Product Description

Fahrney's Exclusive Retro 51 First Noel 2017 Edition Tornado Rollerball
Celebrate the season with Fahrney’s Exclusive First Noël 2017, our second holiday limited edition by Retro 51. The ball pen’s barrel in serene blue, lavendar, gold and white depicts the artist’s interpretation of the Christmas Story with a Nativity scene, the star of Bethlehem and two bright angels. The design recalls a stained glass pattern that’s been printed with metallic inks to give it a little extra shimmer and finished with satin silver-colored accents. The twist-top Retro Tornado ball pen also accepts rollerball refills. The First Noël 2017 is limited to 400 numbered pens shipped in a custom foil-stamped tube. Order soon and share the holiday spirit!

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
Beautiful detailed design. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I am disappointed with the color on the top. It is a plain brass colored metallic disk. While I guess it does technically match the golden color in the design, I expected something more vivid. I would have preferred something enameled matching the blue/lavender. Most Retro51 pens do have a pretty design or color on top and this one fell short for me. Apart from this, the pen has the usual Retro51 quality.
