It follows the modern, all-metal styling of its predecessor – this time with a stripped-back functionality that brings light weight and impeccable finishing to the fore. Constructed from blackened aluminum and brass, the 007 Special Issue has a sleek, minimalist profile reminiscent of tactical accessories. Surface detailing, plating and finishing underscore its metallic composition in a compact, masculine silhouette. Precision machining techniques including reeding, knurling, perforation, and sandblasting. On the Montegrappa 007 Special Issue, black oxidized aluminum is used to execute the section, barrel and an openedged cap, marked with shadow logos and machined texturing at key grip points. Blind cap and a low-profile clip are cut from ion-plated brass, as is a hollow-point cap top enclosure that houses a rifled aluminum insert that simulates the iconic James Bond gun-barrel title sequence.
