Visconti Medici with Rose Gold Trim Maxi Rollerball
During the first half of the 15th century, the Medici were an Italian banking family, a political dynasty, and royal house in Florence, Italy. They were one of the most influential families and inspired the birth of the Renaissance through their patronage of the arts and humanism. Often, the Medici family would commission artists for significant works of art that included paintings, sculptures, and architecture, which significantly helped the artists to concentrate on their work without financial strain. The Medici family significantly influenced the art and architectural design produced in Florence during the Renaissance.
Visconti has followed the Medici path as a patron of arts and has drawn many ideas and collections from Florentine history. Following the great success of the Medici pen collection released in 2017, Visconti is thrilled to present the Medici Rose Gold, utilizing the same innovative Acrosilk material combined with 18K rose gold accents. The Medici pen is faceted with eight sides like the baptistery of Florence. The shape is made following the rules of Divine Proportion, established by Leonardo da Vinci under the patronship of the Medici family. The Medici collection is crafted from a Visconti exclusive material called Acrosilk. The material is a compound of acrylic resin and silk fibers; the result is a fantastic glossy and luminescent wooden color, chosen as a tribute to the ancient luxury materials used in the princely Medici mansions. The ring is chiseled with a symbol of Florence and plated with 18K rose gold. The oversize Medici Rose Gold rollerball features a cap secured with Visconti's patented Hook-Safe locking mechanism. Matching fountain pen and ballpoint pen available.
