The Old Vineyard with Peasant Woman: The Visconti Van Gogh ''Old Vineyard with Peasant Woman'' pen is inspired on one of Vincent Van Gogh's last paintings, painted in 1890, in the final months of his life. For this painting he used pencil, brush and oil paint and watercolour. Van Gogh began with a pencil drawing. Then he added oil paint and watercolour in many different shades of blue. The Orchard in Blossom: Shortly after arriving in the city of Arles, in the south of France, Van Gogh became intrigued by the flowering fruit trees that populated the orchards there in the spring of 1888.
