This colorful writing instrument with a matte finish reinterprets our iconic Homo Sapiens collection in 3 new color ways, Blizzard (white), Inferno (red) and Sandstorm (tan) accented by black ruthenium trim. The pen is made from Visconti’s well-known and highly valued material. The Lava Color collection is the perfect union of catalyzed Mount Etna basaltic lava and colored resin using our patented methods. This new edition also has an anti-stain treatment that protects the pen and prevents ink from depositing on the pen during refilling. Unlike the classic Homo Sapiens Lava collection, the Lava Color features an exclusive magnetic lock closing system which makes opening and closing effortless on the fountain pen and rollerball editions.
