The Exception is available in two sizes: the oversized Night & Day and the Slim model. The Slim model comes in solid black or blue lacquer with silver-plated trim, or in black with gold-plated accents. All Exception fountain pens have 18K gold, handcrafted nibs that are engraved with the Waterman “ideal” and “globe” trademarks – symbols found on the first fountain pen created by L.E. Waterman.
