Dupont Sword Hippocrates Fountain Pen
Dupont Sword Collection Hippocrate Fountain Pen
Faithful to their knowledge of luxury and innovation, S.T. Dupont is expanding their collection of writing instruments with a new range of pens, the S.T. Dupont Sword Collection. This collection is based on the expression “The pen is mightier than a sword”, penned by the English author Edward Bulwer-Lytton (1839).
It describes the power of words, the power of writers and brings a strong soul to this writing instrument, by saying that a pen is not only an object but a powerful weapon to influence people with through thoughts and ideas.
The Sword is the main element of this new collection. In the S.T. Dupont Sword collection there is also the Sword Hippocrates series. This collection uses black lacquer with gold finishes and pays tribute to the Greek philosopher and the founding father of modern medicine, Hippocrates. The fountain pen nib is 14K. Beneath the pen clip there is a snake engraved in the lacquer that represents the Rod of Asclepius, a medical symbol used worldwide. The Hippocrate version comes in fountain pen or rollerball.
