This collection is based on the expression “The pen is mightier than a sword”, penned by the English author Edward Bulwer-Lytton (1839). It describes the power of words, the power of writers and brings a strong soul to this writing instrument, by saying that a pen is not only an object but a powerful weapon to influence people with through thoughts and ideas. The Sword is the main element of this new collection. The clip of each pen is especially designed to resemble a sword with a D-shaped handle. This signature embodies S.T. Dupont’s conviction that “the pen is mightier than a sword”. The S.T. Dupont Sword catalogue collection is made up of a fountain pen, a roller ball pen and a ball point pen. These writing instruments feature black natural lacquer and palladium finishes.
