Product Description
Conklin Limited Edition Mark Twain Crescent Demonstrator Fountain Pen
Advanced for its time and featuring a reliable filling mechanism, the Conklin Crescent Filler attracted attention from many prominent figures of the day, and in 1903 the renowned American author, Mark Twain, became the official ad spokesman for the Conklin Pen Company. Celebrating its innovative design and Mark Twain's passion for the pen, Conklin presents the Mark Twain Crescent Filler as a new limited edition demonstrator in three perfectly transparent acrylic finishes. Conklin's engineers developed new methods to ensure that the material is crystal clear, allowing the writer to view the filling mechanism in action and see the ink level at a glance. The Crescent is known for its easy-to-fill reservoir. To load the pen, simply press the crescent mechanism on the barrel to empty the rubber bladder; ink flows back in as the crescent is released. The Crescent is fitted with a two-tone steel nib featuring a crescent-shaped breathing hole. The Mark Twain Demonstrator Crescent Filler is limited to 1,898 numbered pieces worldwide, the year that Conklin was founded. Choose from blue or clear with rose gold-plated accents, or red with yellow gold-plate and enjoy writing with Mark Twain's favorite pen! Bottle fill only.
