It's beautiful, practical, compact and offers room for 24 writing instruments, even large pens like the oversize Pelikan M1000. The sturdy frame is covered with a real wood veneer of American walnut protected by a clear lacquer coating. Three slotted pen trays are lined in cream-colored leatherette; safety glass top (4mm thick with polished edges) allows admiring glances at any time; rubber feet eliminate scratches on surfaces. The Pelikan logo can be found on both the front and back of the box.
