What lies beyond our earth has captured the imagination of adults and children alike since the first trials of the Apollo Space Missions in the late 1960's and Armstrong's historical moon walk in 1969 and with the latest achievements in space travel, it is fast becoming the new El Dorado. 
Space travel and exploration has since inspired many directors, authors, and creators such as the 2001 movie A Space Odyssey and the 2014 movie Interstellar. 
St. Dupont's latest Limited Edition, A Space Odyssey, is inspired by space travel and exploration. The collection was made using natural lacquers and palladium finishings.  The premium collection features a fountain pen, rollerball, lighter and astronaut cufflinks. 
The lacquer of this collection features a galaxy effect, most prominent on the cap of the fountain and rollerball and featured in the middle of the lighter. The pen cap and barrel also feature engraved rivets to mimic those found on spacecraft.
