legendary series since 2003.
For the first time, this latest fountain pen design bears my signature. With deep respect and
dedication, I have embraced the legacy of a great artist who is no longer with us.

Every detail of this fountain pen tells a story of passion, craftsmanship, and continuity. It stands
as a symbol of gratitude to the great master Francesco Rienzi, forming a bridge between
generations of creators and collectors. Hidden among the Highlands of Papua
New Guinea, the Simbu are a people of warriors,
farmers, and guardians of an ancient tradition. For
centuries, the Simbu have lived in harmony with
the mountains, cultivating the land and defending
their villages. Sacred rituals mark every stage of their
existence, from the harvest to the journey into the
afterlife. One of the most striking traditions is the
“Dancing Skeletons” – a ritual where warriors paint
their bodies to resemble skeletal spirits. The practice
served not only to intimidate enemies but also as a
powerful symbol of connection between the living
and their ancestors. Each piece in this collection is a
masterpiece, crafted to reflect the spirit of the Simbu
people. The hand-turned precious resin pen body
is encased in hand-finished 925 sterling silver (or
yellow or rose gold/vermeil), skeletal ‘armor’ created
through lost-wax casting. The clip is inspired by the
traditional drums used in Simbu music. The fountain
pen has a 14K gold nib and a piston filling system.
