Kaweco Liliput Copper Fountain Pen

The German brand's first Liliput in 1910 was made of ebonite; its new modern models are crafted in solid metals: steel, copper, brass, or the amazing Fireblue Steel. All the metal Liliputs have a pleasing weight and are equipped with an undersized Germanmade, steel nib that brings raves from our customers. The natural copper finish will deepen over time and gain an antiqued look. Cartridge/converter fill. Converter not included.

The pen is nicely balanced, sturdy and a beautiful color. I loved the way the cap screws on to be posted - it won't fall off. It writes smoothly and easily.

Make sure you understand that this is a mini-pen. If you are up for a 'cute little pen', here is your match. While crafted well, it is a bit too cute and little for me.

Great pocket pen

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?

Flawless quality, all metal male and female threads for durability and wonderful weight and feel. This pen writes great even for a lefty the medium nib is nice! Love the natural copper!

Cute pen

The pen is surprisingly small – even after having read how small it was. But it's attractive and very nicely made.

The squeeze converter for sports pens fits the Liliput, but just barely. I have a feeling that when it's filled with ink some might get pushed out when the back of the pen is screwed back on. Haven't tried using it yet.

Not cheap. (I got the copper version.)
