Kaweco Liliput Brass Supra Fountain Pen
The diminutive Liliput fountain pen by Kaweco gets a new big brother! The sleek and slim design of the popular pocket-size fountain pen is now available in a larger size and forged in solid, gleaming brass with threaded grip and end. The pen measures 5” when closed and 6.25” when the cap is posted. The metal Supra has a pleasing weight and is equipped with a standard-size German-made, steel nib that is terrific for daily writing. The natural brass finish will deepen over time and gain an antiqued patina. Ships in a metal Kaweco box. Holds 2 cartridges or a full size converter. Converter not included.

Very nice and also unexpected

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?

Excellent quality.

The barrel is in two pieces for some reason. There are 54 pieces including the nib holder and the cap. 2 sections are flush like the small Lilliput. The last section is indented slightly.

The nib says EF. However it is no where near as fine as the EF on the Kaweco Brass Sport or the smaller Lilliput. I'm using a converter and Pelican Edelstein ink. The other two pens use the Kaweco cartridges.

Very well made. Screws together smoothly just like the smaller Lilliput. Weighted, substantial feel. High polish. The engraving is so light and small that it can barely be seen.

Very nice pen. I expected it be more like the smaller Lilliput only larger. Instead, it is significantly different and only similar in looks. The two piece barrel is aggravating because you can unscrew the bottom third instead of the cap and then have to rescrew it and start again.

Great Pen

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?

I am a collector of fountain pens. I have Mont Blanc, Waterman Edison, Parker 51, and Cross to name a few. However, out of all of the pens I have I find this pen is a excellent writing instrument. I carry it with me daily to work and use it constantly. It has an excellent weight and smooth writing, and it is inexpensive compared to the other writing instruments I own. I highly recommend this instrument to anyone who loves the idea of writing with a fountain pen.
