Kaweco makes history
The history of Kaweco dates back to 1883. Over time, there have been many different systems for filling a fountain pen. While ink cartridges are mainly used today, the piston mechanism can be used to draw the ink directly from the glass into the integrated ink chamber of the fountain pen. This is how our Sport Piston Filler makes ink cartridges obsolete.
The transparent ink window keeps an eye on the ink level at all times. If the ink is used up, the piston fountain pen can be refilled quickly and easily thanks to the particularly smooth-running filling mechanism. This filling system also allows the use of inks in an unsurpassed variety of colors, as there are many ink colors that are filled exclusively in jars.
The Kaweco Sport Piston Fountain Pen is available as a starter set for ready-to-use use with a 32 ml ink jar in the colour royal blue or as a pure writing instrument without additional ink.
