Overall What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Montblanc is renowned for creating beautiful limited edition inks and Red Velvet is no exception. This is a highly saturated, minimally shading ink with average drying times and good lubrication/flow. From a distance the color is almost blood red when dry. It is a tad lighter than their previously produced Hitchcock ink. I like this ink very much and bought an extra bottle as backup. It's always a good idea to buy Montblanc's limited edition inks when you see them because they sell out pretty fast and never come back. Highly recommend.
