Very fine Japanese ballpoint, with writing superior to other ballpoints and even my MontBlanc Boheme Rollerball, which had been the best so far. Kind of good to get away from the cliche' of MontBlanc with an understated pen, the way a Bentley is more understated than a Rolls.

You will find in this pen the high quality of the fountain pen line. In addition, the ballpoint cartridge writes extremely well.
