Celebrate National Handwriting Day 2016 & Enter Fahrney’s Pens Annual Handwriting Contest!

Sorry this event is over.

Fahrney’s Pens invites writers of all ages to celebrate National Handwriting Day on January 23, 2016, and to enter its fifth annual Handwriting Day Contest. This year’s contest winner will receive a beautiful Platinum 3776 Century Chartres Blue Fountain Pen with rhodium trim and solid 14K gold nib – a $220 value!

National Handwriting Day takes place on January 23rd as a birthday tribute to John Hancock whose famous bold signature resides on the Declaration of Independence. Sponsored by the Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association (WIMA), National Handwriting Day is a reminder of the importance of this essential skill and a chance for all of us to re-explore the purity and power of handwriting – the quintessential method of unique and personal expression.

To enter Fahrney’s 2016 Contest, simply express yourself in your own words and handwriting by sharing a memory of your favorite letter or note, either sent or received, and why it made a lasting impression on you.

All entries must be handwritten and can be dropped off at Fahrney’s downtown DC retail store or submitted by mail, fax or email to Fahrney’s headquarters by midnight on January 31, 2016.
