Conklin’s Professional Series honors the dedication and life’s work of those in
the legal and medical fields. The striking pens are crafted in gleaming black resin
engraved with the Conklin logo on the barrel and accented with 18K gilded
rose gold elements on the cap top, band and clip. For the Hippocrates model,
the symbols include a stethoscope, Bowl of Hygeia, Caduceus, and the Star of
Life. The top of the 18K rose gold cap is adorned with the image of Hippocrates,
father of Western medicine; the clip is engraved with the rod of Asclepius. The
Lex model showcases legal symbols: a law book, the scales of justice, a gavel A
and a courthouse. The cap’s top 18K rose gold coin bears the symbol of Themis,
the Greek goddess of justice, engraved with “lustitia est caeca”, (Justice is blind) B
and “LEX.” The clip is engraved with the scales of justice. Hippocrates and Lex
are offered in fountain pen, rollerball and ball pen. The fountain pen features
a premium rose gold-plated steel German JoWo nib. Each pen is gift boxed;

pen begins with stabilized maple burl wood, chosen for its intricate grain
patterns and unique character. The stabilization process results in a wood

Fusion takes innovation a step further by fusing the stabilized wood with
hand-poured epoxy resin. This fusion creates a hybrid material that is
both structurally superior and visually dynamic. The epoxy—pigmented,
