Fahrney’s is thrilled to bring our new vendor partner, Gravitas,
to the U.S. market! Ben Walsh started Gravitas in 2015 - originally
making his pens out of concrete! That might sound surprising,
but making pens out of unique materials is what Ben very much
likes to do. A Gravitas pen is comfortable and user-friendly, thanks
to its balanced, weighted front section. The cap, equipped with
triple-start threads, disengages effortlessly with just a few turns. A
The fountain pens hold a Gravitas-produced #6 steel nib. Here
we’re offering three unique styles. The Piston Carbon Fiber is
Gravitas’ first piston filler, offering a smooth action and generous
ink capacity to keep your creativity flowing. The barrel and cap
are machined from a single rod of pultruded carbon fiber with
random patterns and satin texture; the grip, piston knob and
rings are grade 5 titanium and PvD coated in black, as is the large
#8 steel nib. Limited to 500 pieces. The Sentry Micarta fountain
pen is expertly designed for both novice and experienced
writers. The Sentry is finished in Micarta, a composite material B
known for its strength and handsome, textured surface that
offers great ergonomics and grip. The Quark Grade 5 Titanium
is a pocket fountain pen that combines compact convenience
with exceptional performance. The pen is entirely machined
from a solid bar of grade 5 titanium making it lightweight and
ergonomically balanced. Transforming into a full-sized writing
instrument when posted, the pen is also eye-dropper friendly,
capable of holding up to 1.5ml of ink
