Weems and Plath Storm Glass Brass
This mysterious weather predictor has been used since 1750; Admiral Fitzroy relied on the Stormglass aboard the HMS Beagle during his historic voyage with Darwin in 1831. After 250 years, no one really knows how it works, but the appearance of the crystals in the glass indicates changes in the weather Å cold and stormy, warmer, frost, rain, or fair and dry. The sealed glass chamber that holds the crystals is housed in a beautifully- crafted cylinder of brass. It can be displayed freestanding or attached to a wall using the optional mounting hook. Also available in chrome.
