Conklin Mark Twain Crescent Demonstrator Rose Gold Trim Fountain Pen
The Limited Edition Conklin Crescent Demonstrator Rose Gold Trim Fountain Pen adds a modern edge to its famous Crescent filler. As most Conklin fans know, the Crescent is an exact replica of the original Crescent Filler fountain pen used and promoted by Mark Twain in the early 1900's.
Turned from solid rods of clear resin, the pens are polished inside and out - a time-consuming and expensive process. Internal parts that are normally hidden have been re-engineered to look aesthetically pleasing through the transparent pen body. You can watch the mechanism as you fill the pen: press the 'crescent' on the barrel to empty the rubber bladder inside; release the crescent and bottle ink flows back into the pen. The Rose Gold Crescent model holds a two-tone steel nib and is available with a great signature stub point! The Crescent Demonstrator is limited to 1,898 numbered pieces of each finish.
