Pen fans rejoiced when the Aurora Duo Cart was brought back
to the market after 60 years! The reintroduction was a huge
hit – now Aurora presents an improved Duo Cart and added
more colors. The beautiful Duo Cart is a perfect example of the
streamlined Italian style that dominated the world in the 1950s-60s. Famous for being the first fountain pen to house dual ink
cartridges, the Duo Cart’s ultimate component is the Aurora
hooded stainless steel nib, praised then and now for its ability to
write smooth long lines that create beautiful handwriting. The
pens have been completely hand-assembled and checked at Aurora’s factory in Turin, Italy. The finishes represent popular color
schemes of the era in new pink and yellow, baby blue, Vespa
green or black with chrome accents; dark blue and burgundy
are trimmed in gold. The metal caps in satin chrome or polished
gold plate have linear guilloche engraving and ‘AURORA’ etched
on the front. Each Duo Cart is presented in a special box with a
custom bottle of ink and certificate of authenticity. Enjoy 1950’s
