The Solitaire Calligraphy pens pay tribute to the illuminated manuscripts of Renaissance scribes whose use of gold leaf inspired the collection’s design. Genuine gold leaf is hand-applied to the black lacquer cap and barrel of each Solitaire Calligraphy pen, then covered by a translucent lacquer.

With fittings in black PVD, the LeGrand edition is available as a fountain pen with thestandard Meisterstück 18K ruthenium-coated nib in fine or medium or as a flex nib (different item number). The Montblanc Calligraphy series also includes a notebook in black leather with gold foil cover, special edition Elixir Calligraphy bottle ink, Calligraphy cufflinks and a Calligraphy 2-slot pen pouch.
