The Loiminchay Opus features a cylindrical profile that is modern yet influenced by the styles of Art Deco and traditional Asian design. The solid brass body is coated with multiple layers of lacquer in black or blue with contrasting, colored rings and white gold accents. A genuine pearl sits on the cap and a sapphire cabochon is fitted to the pen end. The large, capped rollerball is the same size as the matching Opus fountain pen.
