Product Description
Platinum Kawaguchi 3776 Limited Edition Century Demonstrator Fountain Pen
Mount Fuji’s Five Lakes are the inspiration for Platinum’s refreshing series of demonstrator 3776 fountain pens. The newest release honors Lake
Kawaguchi, the fifth and final pen in the series. The fountain pen was created with the image of Kawaguchi at dawn when darkness changes to light with the rising sun. The deep blue transparent body is etched with a raised pattern evoking the water rippling in the breeze. On the cap ring, a special nut has been used to honor the image of the lightly accented silhouette of the Mt. Fuji at dawn. The Kawaguchi fountain
pens offer the patented ‘Slip and Seal’ cap - the unique mechanism inside the cap rotates each time the pen is opened or closed,
making it airtight to protect against evaporation and leaks and keeps your ink flowing. It also includes a 14K gold and rhodium nib that provides super
smooth writing.
The Platinum 3776”series was named after the height of Mt. Fuji, known as the highest mountain in Japan. It was created in pursuit of the best fountain pen in Japan by accumulating technologies and experiences. The commemorative “Fuji Five Lakes” series was developed to reflect the image of the Mt. Fuji and its surrounding lakes. The 3776 Motosu as its first limited edition, followed by the Shoji, the Sai, then the Yamanaka. The Kawaguchi is the fifth and final edition!
A limited number of 2,500 pieces will feature a unique serial number on the pen. Cartridge/converter fill.
