Product Description

Parker Duofold Historical Colors Rollerball Pen
Inspired by 125 years of ground-breaking history, Parker revives three of its most historical colors for the iconic Duofold: White Ivorine, Lapis Lazuli and the iconic Big Red. The Duofold range was launched in 1921, featuring a black model and the daring Big Red. From the start, the Big Red's striking, energetic color stirred the interest of customers (who were used to only black pens), and became a huge success for Parker. The Big Red remains the most sought-after pen in the Parker Duofold's history. The intense blue Lapis Lazuli was launched in 1927. A reference to the deep blue gemstone of the same name, Lapis Lazuli extended the Duofold to a lively and diverse range. A new material called "Ivorine" by Parker, was the first plastic used for pen production and made new finishes in white and even pastel tones possible. The 2014 Duofold stays true to its stylistic roots, with brilliant resin bodies accented in rich gold plating. The Duofold fountain pen is a cut above the rest with its large, two-tone gold and rhodium nib engraved with the Parker Ace logo, and a choice of two sizes: the large Centennial or the medium-sized International model. A twist ball pen with fluted cap and capped rollerball complete the Duofold Historical Colors series, encouraging you to write your own story - and much more.

Glad to see them back!
Overall

I was really glad when the orange came back. The one I bought in the 90's was stolen some time ago and of course it was the most expensive parker color, so I never bought a replacement until now. Just as I remember it, great weight and balance for heavy duty writing and it looks great on the desk (but this time it's going in the drawer1)

Wonderfully evocative design. Not ostentatious, but the quality shows through.

Terrific pen, no inks to worry about and the writing is clear- never smudged (I'm a lefty).

Get this while you can or wait another dozen or so years for another release

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?

Can't miss with this pen!

I love the Parker series- this fills out my Classic Orange set

The quality is superb- no issues at all with the feel or writing of the instrument.

As I now have the full set (Fountain Pen, Ballpoint and Roller) I obviously love the design and especially the color- really stands out from the boring black.

It is a roller ball- writes well and doesn't skip. Teh pocket clip keeps it secure.

You bet- great feel, great look and writes well.

AAAA++++ the best
