Parker Duofold Historical Colors Ballpoint Pen
Inspired by 125 years of ground-breaking history, Parker revives three of its most historical colors for the iconic Duofold: White Ivorine, Lapis Lazuli and the iconic Big Red. The Duofold range was launched in 1921, featuring a black model and the daring Big Red. From the start, the Big Red's striking, energetic color stirred the interest of customers (who were used to only black pens), and became a huge success for Parker. The Big Red remains the most sought-after pen in the Parker Duofold's history. The intense blue Lapis Lazuli was launched in 1927. A reference to the deep blue gemstone of the same name, Lapis Lazuli extended the Duofold to a lively and diverse range. A new material called "Ivorine" by Parker, was the first plastic used for pen production and made new finishes in white and even pastel tones possible. The 2014 Duofold stays true to its stylistic roots, with brilliant resin bodies accented in rich gold plating. The Duofold fountain pen is a cut above the rest with its large, two-tone gold and rhodium nib engraved with the Parker Ace logo, and a choice of two sizes: the large Centennial or the medium-sized International model. A twist ball pen with fluted cap and capped rollerball complete the Duofold Historical Colors series, encouraging you to write your own story - and much more.
