Pilot is pleased to introduce the Silvern Sterling Collection that features two unique designs. The “Koushi” is a design which depicts a grid-like pattern resembling a door on an old Japanese house; while the “Tsumugi” has a pattern that is based on the texture of a piece of silk. The beautiful pens have been intricately engraved on hand-wrought, solid sterling silver barrels and caps. The two designs seamlessly combine classical elegance with modern relevance. The coveted fountain pens carry the Pilot inlaid 18K gold and rhodium nib revered for its precise, even stroke and superb ink flow. Each pen comes in a black gift box with polishing cloth. Cartridge/converter fill.

Wow, what a FEEL on this pen

It's difficult to describe the heft, texture and overall feel of this pen. The body of the pen seems slightly lighter in weight than the cap, and writes with a very light touch when it is NOT posted. But when posted it is also well balanced and feels great in the hand with the majority of the weight in the cleft of the hand between thumb and index. The grip on the pen is lovely and smooth and the nib is silky smooth and a pleasure to write with on any paper. The texture of the exterior is just fantastic and oozes "Japanese Tradition".
