Pilot Limited Edition Decimo Vanishing Point 20th Anniversary Fountain Pen Fine Nib
2025 marks a momentous milestone in Pilot’s Vanishing Point legacy: the 20th Anniversary of the Vanishing Point Décimo. This is the very first worldwide limited edition piece in the Décimo line. The design pays tribute to Pilot's origin story: in 1925, founders Ryosuke Namiki and Masao Wada set sail from Yokohama, carrying Japanese-made gold-nib fountain pens to the world. Their pioneering voyage inspires this edition’s theme: Voyage, Challenge, and Pioneering.
The Decimo's aluminum body features a dusk-to-dawn gradient, a luminous transition from deep indigo to a warm coral-pink, evoking starlit skies giving way to the soft promise of morning. Layered atop the gradient, a rotary silk printing technique is used to depict subtle star patterns that shimmer quietly under light. The overall effect is refined, ethereal, and symbolic of new beginnings.
Only 3,000 pieces will be released globally. Each is equipped with a rhodium-plated 18-karat gold nib (Fine only), and arrives in a special matching gift box containing a CON-40 converter, black ink cartridge, story card, use and care guide, and warranty certificate.
