Parker Duofold Classic Centennial Fountain Pen
A symbol of excellence since 1921, Duofold remains the most distinguished pen in Parker’s discerning lineage. Driven by a commitment to superior craftsmanship, every detail of the Parker Duofold Classic Centennial Fountain Pen is carefully thought out and executed, from the vintage Ace emblazoned on the 18K gold nib to the precious metal finishes, and meticulously brought together by hand to ensure the finest writing experience.
For 2016, Parker renews the Duofold with design upgrades including a re-styled nib, wide three-ring band, and black resin end caps and grip. Inspired by its 125 years of groundbreaking history, Parker chose deep resin colors reminiscent of vintage Duofolds: the iconic Big Red, Ivory, Blue Lapis, and Black. To celebrate the Big Red as the most sought-after finish in Duofold’s history, Parker has engraved the barrel of the new model with a nostalgic ribbon brand logo. The intense Blue Lapis was first launched in 1927. Developed in the 1920s, the material called “Ivorine” made pens in white and pastel
tones possible. The Big Red, Blue, and Black pens are accented in shiny palladium plating; Black also comes with gold-plated fittings, as does the Ivory. The Duofold fountain pen is a cut above the rest with its large, 18K gold and rhodium nib engraved with the Ace logo, and a choice of two models: the large Centennial or the medium-sized International.
