ACME Frank Lloyd Wright Inspired Rollerball Pen
Born in Wisconsin in 1867, Frank Lloyd Wright grew up to be America’s greatest and most innovative architect. His legacy is one of America's foremost cultural treasures. When Architectural Record magazine published a list of the 100 most significant buildings in the world - 11 were by Frank Lloyd Wright. ACME Studios brings the works of the noted architect into your hands with these fascinating pens and accessories.

The designs are screened on brass or steel and layered with transparent lacquer. The black-with-primary-colors motif is an interpretation of Wright's designs for the Avery Coonley house constructed in 1907-08. The estate consisted of several buildings including a playhouse for the Coonley's young daughter. The black and grey square pattern finish evokes the Ennis House, one of the first to use modular concrete block, which Wright cast with Mayan effects. The black finish with subtly lined patterns echoes the art glass windows of the Robie House, designed by Wright for his client Frederick C. Robie in 1910. It is considered one of the most important buildings in the history of American architecture, inspiring an architectural revolution. Its sweeping horizontal lines, dramatic overhangs, stretches of windows and open floor plan make it a quintessential Prairie style house. The Brick, Robie and Coonley motifs are available as a capped rollerball or a fountain pen with steel nib. The coordinating cufflinks and card cases are plated in silver trim. Each piece is a work of modern art you can admire, use or give as a unique gift!

Customer Comments
"I love Fahrney's. Getting their catalog is like going through the Christmas catalogs that came to the house when I was a kid. Cover to cover. Great photos and descriptions. I have made so many purchases. I really appreciate the quality engraving Fahrney's offers and take advantage of that. Competitive prices, too. I am a loyal, repeat customer. I hope to visit their DC store some time." - Verified Buyer, March '24
