MICHEL PERCHIN RUSSIAN EAGLE FOUNTAIN PEN
The Russian Eagle fountain pen is an exquisite limited edition from Michel Perchin. As Head Work Master for Faberge from 1885 to 1903, Michel Perchin was the catalyst that propelled the firm to become the world-renowned jeweler of Russian royalty, producing the Imperial Faberge Eggs. The Russian Eagle was inspired be the Imperial Coronation Egg of 1897, presented by Czar Nicholas II to his wife Alexandra Feodorovna, with dazzling starburst patterns and a black enameled Imperial Eagle. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted in Europe in solid 925 sterling silver and engraved with over 1,000 marks to the highest goldsmith standards. Multiple layers of translucent enamel are baked onto the guilloche pattern adding depth and beauty to the starburst and Imperial Eagle design. Limited in production to 88 pieces worldwide, the Russian Eagle comes in four brilliant enamel colors: Coronation Yellow or Periwinkle Blue with rhodium trim, and Royal Blue or Ruby Red with 22K gold-plated trim. The masterful fountain pen has an 18K gold nib and uses cartridges or converter. Matching rollerball also available.
