This is a great pen
Overall

I love this pen because of its decoration. Einsteins derivation of the famous E=MC2 is inscribed on the pen and that is the attraction to me. The pen is well worth the price, but is not like your premium Pelikan or Delta. Still, all the same, I love the tribute to Albert Einstein.

The pen is equipped with the beautiful gel ballpoint cartridge and writes quite well. At least on my pen, the twist mechanism which ejects and retracts the point is more difficult to turn than I would prefer. This is a small matter, and if you are an Einstein buff, don't let this deter you. It is an outstanding tribute to one of the great minds of this world's history. The design quality takes a back seat to this matter.

Once one gets the point out in writing position, this pen with its gel ink is magnificent. It writes ever so smoothly and beautifully with the included cartridge.

This pen is worth the price.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?

This is a nice pen to use when for one reason or another you don't want to take your Pelikan 800 rollerball or similar high-quality pen. However, it is well worth the price, and I would highly recommend it.

My fourth Tornado rollerball

My first Tornado rollerball is six years old and has been hassle-free. The Einstein rollerball shows every sign of offering the same durability.

I'm a technology marketer and a total geek, so the design of the Einstein rollerball was immediately attractive to me. I'm surrounded by developers and other technical people, and in the week I've had this pen I've gotten tons of comments from them.

If this pen lasts as long as my others have I will definitely regard it as a bargain.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?

Another good looking, reliable, very practical Tornado rollerball.
