Although there are hundreds of species of swallowtails, the Pencil mainly features the Western Tiger Swallowtail amongst other butterfly wings. Black, white and metallic blue are printed over the lightly brushed brass barrel, causing the Wings of the Swallowtail to glisten in the light. Topped with one more butterfly wing on the finial, the pen is accented with black trim, keeping the focus on the golden wings.
