The Italian artisans at Stipula have re-fashioned its original luxurious I Castoni collection into a more affordable model intended for everyday writing. Set with a semi-precious gemstone, the pen’s clip serves as a ‘castone’ (a precious stone setting in Italian). The new I Castoni Chic retains the distinctive curved cap and dual rings of the original design, but adds pearlescent resin finishes in colors to match the stones: Blue Lapis, Golden Tiger’s Eye and Amethyst. Now also in Orange and Black Hawkeye. The fountain pen has a polished steel nib available with regular, 0.9mm italic or the all-new M-Flex point. The M-Flex nib is cut to provide greater flexibility – you’ll get thick or thin strokes as you vary the pressure on the nib. The I Castoni also comes in a capped rollerball. Both make ideal writing companions – for work, for play, or to give as a cherished gift. The I Castoni is cartridge or bottle fill.
